We’ll be waiting for you at the meeting point in the Port of Puerto Madryn to start our tour to Punta Tombo.
Our adventure starts with a scenic two-hour drive to the Punta Tombo Peninsula in Argentina’s Chubut province. During the trip, our guide will share fascinating insights about the region’s flora and fauna, as well as the history of the Magellanic penguins.
Upon arrival, we’ll find ourselves among hundreds of thousands of Magellanic penguins in an impressive natural setting. The two-mile-long and 600-meter-wide peninsula is covered with sand, clay, and gravel, creating the perfect habitat for these penguins. You’ll have the chance to walk among them, observe their behavior, and enjoy their presence in a completely natural and strictly protected environment, ensuring their safety and well-being.
After this unforgettable experience, we’ll return to Puerto Madryn, where your cruise ship will be waiting.
