Continuing our tour, we’ll take the main route to Puerto Varas, a gem of tourism in southern Chile, nestled at the foot of Lake Llanquihue. Founded by German settlers, this city showcases its heritage in every corner, from the Alerce wood architecture to its gastronomy. We’ll stroll through its streets and enjoy its unparalleled natural surroundings.
Our next stop is Frutillar, a charming town also located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue and founded by German settlers. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility of the area while admiring the majestic, snow-capped Osorno Volcano. Frutillar is also home to the renowned Teatro del Lago, famous for the Musical Weeks, an event that attracts music lovers from around the world.
After savoring the serenity and beauty of Frutillar, we’ll head back to the port of Puerto Montt, where your cruise ship awaits. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to taste Chilean cuisine, featuring traditional empanadas, fresh salmon, and an array of delectable seafood options.
